We've been renting cars to foreign and Indian travelers in Jaipur since 2010. In that time we've learned three things people actually want to know — and the typical car rental website hides all three. So here they are upfront.
How does the pricing work?
All our rates are 'per day' based on 8 hours / 80 km usage within Jaipur. Extra km are charged at $0.12-0.20/km depending on car class. Outstation (going outside Jaipur) is charged at $0.18-0.25/km plus a fixed driver allowance ($8-12/night for night halts). Yes, this is the standard Indian car-rental model — every operator uses it. We just tell you upfront.
Which car should I pick?
Sedan (Maruti Dzire / Honda Amaze) — best for 1-3 travelers, city use, airport transfers. Comfortable for 4 hours max. $30/day.
SUV (Toyota Innova Crysta) — most popular. 3-6 travelers, all luggage fits, comfortable for 8-hour days, great for Golden Triangle / Rajasthan road trips. $45/day. This is what we recommend for 80% of foreign visitors.
Premium SUV (Toyota Fortuner / Innova Hycross) — bigger boot, higher ride, more presence. Same passenger capacity as Innova. $55/day. Worth it for honeymoons or VIP guests.

Can I self-drive a rental car in Jaipur?
Technically yes (companies like Zoomcar do it). Honestly: we strongly advise against it for foreign tourists. Indian roads, signage, and driving culture take 6 months to learn. Every dollar you save on a driver, you risk on insurance/accident/police hassle. A driver costs $20-25/day on top of the car. Worth every penny.
Can the driver also be our tour guide?
Drivers know some history (every Indian driver does) but they're not certified guides. For monuments like Amber Fort, Taj Mahal, City Palace — book a separate licensed guide ($25-35/day extra). For drives between cities or general orientation, the driver handles it.
What if my flight is delayed?
No problem. Our driver tracks your flight number — if you land 4 hours late, he'll be there 4 hours late. No waiting charges for the first 2 hours; after that we charge $5/hour (rare, only if it's a 6+ hour delay).
How do I pay?
30% advance to confirm (PayPal, Wise, bank transfer in USD/EUR/GBP, or INR via UPI). Balance directly to the driver in cash (INR) or via UPI at end of trip. Or full prepayment if you prefer — slight 2-3% credit-card processing fee.
Can I rent for a week or month?
Yes. Weekly rates are about 10% discount. Monthly rates 20-25% discount. Example: SUV monthly = $1,000-1,100/month including driver, 10hr/day, 200km/day usage.
Do you do airport pickups?
Yes — Jaipur airport (JAI) and Delhi airport (DEL) included. Jaipur airport pickup is $15 (welcome flowers + signboard with your name). Delhi-Jaipur airport transfer is $90 (5 hours each way).
What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before service. 50% charge for 24-48 hour cancellation. Full charge for less than 24 hours (because we've already dispatched the car). No-show: full charge.
Are the drivers vaccinated and health-checked?
Yes — full COVID vaccination, annual health checkup, no smokers (we screen for this — smoking driver is the #1 complaint from foreign guests).
