What to do on arrival day

Reach by 2:30 PM and you still have a full half-day: Mehrangarh Fort (2–3 hours, closes 5 PM entry), sunset from Jaswant Thada or the fort ramparts, and dinner at a rooftop under the lit fort. Toorji ka Jhalra stepwell and the Sardar Market clock tower are best kept for the next morning.
