Dargah Sharif: how the drop works
Private vehicles cannot reach the Dargah gate — the last stretch is a walking market (Dargah Bazaar). Our drivers drop you at the nearest permitted point (Delhi Gate side, about 400 m walk) and park nearby. On Urs days the perimeter widens; the driver will guide you to the shortest walking route — they do this weekly.
Trains vs cab for Ajmer
Trains from Jaipur to Ajmer are frequent and cheap, but the Dargah is 2 km from the station through dense traffic, and returns after evening namaz are a scramble. For 2+ people, a private cab at ₹2,799 round trip usually wins on time, comfort and certainty.
