The Chittorgarh option — take it
About 300 km in, a short detour brings you to Chittorgarh: Vijay Stambha, Rani Padmini's palace, the Kalika Mata temple, and ramparts that go on for miles. Two hours here breaks the drive perfectly and turns a transfer into a highlight. We include the detour free — just mention it at booking so we plan a 7 AM start.
Flight vs cab honesty check
There is a direct Jaipur–Udaipur flight most days (~1 hr). For 1–2 people travelling light and time-poor, it can beat the cab.
